This web site was originally built to find my birthdaughter which it has accomplished.  Within these pages you will find the story of how she found me and other stories as well.  You will also find poetry, recipes, links to other great sites and as time goes on hopefully this site will become a place you will enjoy visiting for all kinds of things.
The original site was built at Geocities and part of it is still there.  I cannot edit it because of the changes made by yahoo but if you would like to take a look at it please click here but don't forget to come back!

Our walk with Jesus is a long  journey filled with trials and great joy.  Some people say that Christians think they are perfect!  At one time I felt that way about Christians also.  But I have learned, through my own experience,  that actually what a person is saying when they accept Jesus as their savior is this, "Lord I am not perfect and can not be perfect.  Therefore, I need you (one who is perfect) as my Lord and savior."  I still am not perfect and I know that God is not finished with me yet.
It is my belief that one of  the best ways to show Jesus to others is share our testimony.  God says in His Word that we shall overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. ( Rev. 12:11)  This belief, along with the desire to find my daughter, is what caused this site to be created.  And, although it is a bit awkward to me, I am going to share my story in bits and pieces with all who venture here. I will always be adding and changing so come again!

My life experiences are varied and some of them taught me hard lessons.  I am not proud of all the things I have done but as I look back I see where each one of the things I went through served a very special purpose in my life and ministry. Until my life is over I will continue to learn and grow from every experience both good and bad that I have. I know that it was always hard for me to relate to someone who had never been there, so to speak, like they were perfect.  How could they know what I was going through or what I felt like when I went through it?  But I found out that God does care for each of us and feels our pain as His own.  All we have to do is believe and we will find help where none seemed to be before.
My prayer is that God will use me and the things that I have been through for His glory and honor and blessing.  It is He that has brought me safe thus far and He is the one who deserves all the praise.  It is hard to imagine why I have been and can be so stubborn when all He does is show me mercy, kindness, and love.  Nothing am I more thankful for than His grace, for He is quick to forgive and slow to anger.  The Grace of God is a free gift for anyone who will only ask.  I asked and I received....YOU CAN ALSO!

Romans 10: 9-11
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says,
"WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
